Incredible impact: Kelly Pittuck’s first year at IPM Facilities

This February, Kelly Pittuck marks her first anniversary with IPM Facilities as our HR Assistant, a milestone that reflects her dedication, growth, and commitment to supporting the people behind our operations.
Kelly joined IPM in February 2025 after facing redundancy from a role she had hoped would be her “until retirement” job. Determined to turn a challenging situation into a fresh opportunity, she quickly became an integral part of the HR team. From the start, she received strong support from our HR Manager Sophie Marlow and Managing Director Neil Fleming, who ensured she had everything she needed to settle into her new role and learn the ins and outs of the department.
In May 2025, Sophie went on maternity leave, giving Kelly the opportunity to take on the day-to-day management of HR operations. This responsibility allowed her to gain hands-on experience in areas she had never worked in before, including TUPE processes, payroll, onboarding, policies and procedures.

“I’ve learned so much in my first year and been able to take part in aspects of HR that I never would have encountered in my previous role,” Kelly says. “Neil has been an incredible support, helping me navigate the trickier parts of the role, and Sophie was always just a phone call away.”
Beyond her technical growth, Kelly has embraced the chance to contribute to the wider HR strategy at IPM. She is keen to be involved in the progression of both the department and the company, helping to shape processes, support colleagues, and drive positive change for the teams across IPM.
Reflecting on her first year, Kelly adds:
“I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given, the support from my colleagues, and the chance to grow in my career. I’m excited to be involved in the progression of the department and the company in 2026, and to be part of the amazing team at IPM Facilities.”
As we all celebrate this milestone with Kelly, the whole IPM team wants to recognise the incredible impact she has made in her first year. Her dedication, professionalism, and willingness to step up have not gone unnoticed, and we are thrilled to have her as part of our HR team.
