IPM Facilities Achieves Reduction in Emission Intensity Amid Plans for Net Zero Future

IPM Facilities is delighted to announce a significant reduction in our carbon emissions intensity, highlighting our commitment to environmental sustainability and our ongoing journey towards achieving Net Zero emissions.

In our most recent environmental impact report for the period for Jan 1st 2023 - Dec 31st 2023, IPM Facilities achieved a remarkable 16% reduction in emissions intensity, decreasing from 81.4 tCO2e per million pounds of revenue to 68.5 tCO2e. This achievement highlights our efficiency improvements and proactive approach to integrating sustainable practices into our operations.

“We are pleased with the progress we have made in reducing our emission. This reflects our strategic focus on enhancing operational efficiencies and our commitment to environmental stewardship. We understand the importance of not just growing responsibly, but also reducing our environmental footprint.”

-Mark Noakes, Managing Director

As part of our strategy to uphold carbon neutrality, IPM Facilities is actively exploring carbon credit projects. We have proposed several initiatives aimed at offsetting our annual emissions. These projects are thoughtfully selected to align with IPM’s sustainability goals and deliver tangible environmental benefits.

Looking ahead, we are preparing to update our sustainability roadmap and set ambitious targets for further emissions reductions.

“In the coming weeks, we plan to review our targets and strategies to achieve our Net Zero ambitions. We are committed to being at the forefront of sustainability in the facilities management industry.”

-Neil Fleming, COO
