In the autumn of last year the Fabric team were approached to carry out various PPM’s and repair works to a site in Crawley by a Chartered Surveyor working on behalf of an existing client.
Darren Mein and Adam Richards, both met with the clients on-site to run through the works. It quickly became apparent that this would be a challenging job. There were multiple disciplines to work on from carpentry, decorating, cleaning to groundworks and drainage. To add to this the site is a 24-hour site so there were no easy times to get certain aspects complete.
This meant we had to work on the CDM’s and programme of works constantly and keep up great communication between the teams and tenants on-site back through to helpdesk and the clients in the background.
Darren commented, "We managed to complete all works agreed within the month of December as agreed, which had its challenges with the weather. Both Adam and myself were extremely happy with the final outcome. Lots of smaller jobs coming together to give great satisfaction."
