After weeks of preparation and raising money for Transform Housing and Support, we finally did it! A tough challenge but our IPM walkers successfully completed the 25 Mile Surrey Three Peaks Challenge in good time, and in the process raised over 100% of our target amount.
Sophie Holmes who helped organised the event commented:
“We wanted a “real challenge” to raise money and the added benefit for our team is that exercise is great for mental health and wellbeing, but this event was also about fun, teamwork, and supporting a fantastic charity. It was a really tough challenge and we all suffered from sore legs and feet by the end! however, everyone in the team can feel really proud of their achievement”.
A huge congratulations to all involved and a special mention to our three family volunteers, Amy, Maxine, and Josh, who agreed to take on the challenge alongside our IPM team. There is still time to donate, and by doing so you are supporting those that are homeless & vulnerable as we head towards winter by visiting the link.
