IPM facilities are committed to the ongoing improvement of our Health and Safety within the organisation. This has enabled us to secure numerous accreditations including ES BN ISO 45001:2018, Safe Contractor SSIP, Constructionline Gold, and Avetta to name just a few.
We constantly review our systems to ensure all our activities are carried out with as safe and sustainable an approach as possible. We also believe it’s important to listen to our workforce and incorporate their initiatives to improve our health and safety.
IProtectU is a secure and integrated health and safety software. This was introduced to the company last year and it was a welcome improvement. It’s readily accessible for employees and sub-contractors via the use of mobile phones.
The software can be used for all accident and near-miss reporting, conducting and reviewing Risk Assessments, Training, ToolBox Talk, and DSE assessment are all completed on the IProtectU software.

EN BS ISO 45001:2018
IPM has had this qualification since 2021. ISO 45001 is designed to prevent work-related injury and ill-health and to provide safe and healthy workplaces.
ISO 45001 is an international standard for health and safety at work developed by national and international standards committees independent of government.

SSIP SafeContractor
IPM facilities had held this qualification for nine years.
Safe Contractor is a highly respected SSIP Accredited Health and Safety Contractor Competence Assessment Scheme.
They aim to ease the process when applying for tenders, by providing contractors with a standard set of questions that are recognised by many health and safety schemes.
Safe Contractor is also considered as being an SSIP equivalent to CHAS, SMAS, Exor, Acclaim, and Constructionline.
Safe Contractor is well established within the construction industry, as well as throughout many other industry sectors, as providing a benchmark health and safety standard against which Contractors Health and Safety Arrangements and Provisions are reviewed.
Constructionline Gold Member
IIPM Facilities has been a member of Constructionline for 9 years. IPM Facilities is currently a gold member. This is very heavy health and safety originated platform and this qualification can only be obtain from having SSIP Accreditation (Safety Schemes in Procurement. SSIP has adopted the HSE core criteria which means our business complies with the health and safety legislation. This accreditation makes it possible for IPM facilities to optimise our performance while minimising the risk.
Avetta Approved Member
IPM Facilities has been a member for almost a decade. Being a part of this platform has helped us to develop and grow our business health and safety and to ensure risks are being minimised. Being a member of Avetta has also equipped us with the tools to connect with subcontractors that are operating at the highest safety levels.
Institution of Occupational Health & Safety
IOSH stands for The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health. Being an IOSH member we are granted access to the likes of conferences exhibitions, networking events, online forums, and a telephone helpline – all with a view to promoting universal health and safety in the workplace . Members stay current with legislation while maintaining and developing new skills through CPD training.
I’ve been actively involved in Health and Safety for over five years, and I have been at IPM facilities for the past 8 months. Here at IPM Facilities, we are very proactive in health and safety providing information, training, and adequate supervision to keep our guys on the ground as safe as possible. No two days are the same, I’m actively involved in health and safety spot checks to make sure employees and subcontractors are working as safely as possible so they can return to their families at the end of the working day. All our Health and safety documents including RAMS and Jobs specific is done through IProtectU. Positive changes to our practices are also agreed upon within staff consultation meetings – meaning we’re all united in our ongoing health and safety focus.
