IPM & ARC delivers new community garden at Blackbird Leys

At IPM facilities, we are fortunate to work with some truly aspirational clients who share our commitment to community and environmental impact. This allows us to support client initiatives that provide a real purpose, and benefit for so many others.
The BLAP Community Hub is a volunteer-led centre supporting residents in Blackbird Leys. So, when ARC Oxford approached us to help enhance their landscape, we were delighted to get involved.
Supporting biodiversity through landscape design
Our in-house Landscape Architect, Joshua Noakes, developed a landscaping design that included raised beds for vegetable growing, pollinator-friendly planting, and a nature-focused area designed to help children engage with biodiversity in a practical and meaningful way.
A true community effort
On the day of the installation, IPM supplied all necessary tools, and with the generous support of our grounds maintenance operatives, the dedicated Oxford Campus team, local residents, and our suppliers, the garden quickly took shape.
The result is a welcoming, functional space that encourages safe play, learning, and community connection, while also promoting biodiversity and environmental awareness.
